Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information are all the quote tool requires: your gender, birthdate, how you'd describe your health, whether you use tobacco, the benefit amount you're considering, and your preferred term length. We gather your name and address only if and when you decide to apply for coverage.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The monthly figures represent what each carrier would charge for your chosen health classification. Underwriting performed by the carrier may keep your class the same, move you to a better one, or place you in a different tier. These quotes are estimates only and do not constitute a binding offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll provide your name, and we'll build the application from the specific quote you selected. The process then moves to the carriers' protected application system. You're free to pause and come back later. Everything is signed electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, our licensed California partner (License 0B75129), manages all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
The carrier, the coverage amount you're seeking, and your health details all play a role. Many carriers offering immediate decisions can approve eligible applicants without an exam. The quote results indicate for each carrier whether a medical exam is required, might be needed, or won't be necessary.
Is a longer term better?
Think about the period during which your family or business would face financial hardship without your income—paying a mortgage, raising kids, repaying loans. A longer policy period charges more each month but guarantees that rate for many more years. You can enter different timeframes (10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 years) and see the cost differences.
Does this site sell my information?
No. We don't request personal contact information to show quotes. Your data isn't sold to third parties or shared without permission. We measure site activity without cookies or tracking identifiers. For complete details on data handling, visit our privacy page.
